My Blogs

Yes, I love to blog. Some may call it an obsession, but I just don't talk to those people anymore. I find that blogging and getting things out of my head really helps to leave room for inner voices. Just kidding (sort of). Anyhow, not only do I have this blog, but I also have several other blogs out there. Check them out!

Screening Party - this blog is dedicated to my movie club that meets once a month. We vote on a movie, then go see it together....we even talk about the movie afterwards. I just started it this year and so far it has been a lot of fun. Want to join?

Standley Lake Book Club - I found that most book clubs talked too seriously. I love books, but I am not a deep guy. I wanted a book club where we talked about books, but still had some fun too, so I created my own and it has been great. Every 6 weeks or so, we get together, talk about our book, have some drinks, some food...but best of all lots of fun.

Dale and Tom's Twenty-Four Dates - this past Christmas I gave my partner, Dale and fun gift - 24 dates in 2011. I planned out all the dates at a high level and this blog is dedicated to documenting all those dates. It is basically two gay men, 24 dates, but most of all lots of laughter and love.

Ignore All Odds - in 2009 the love of my life, Dale was diagnosed with lymphoma (he is now cancer-free - yeah!) and I started a blog dedicated to his recovery. It was my personal space to talk about cancer from a caregiver's perspective and share news on his recovery with friends and family. Dale did not know about the blog until late in his recovery, as I knew I needed a place where I could vent and be honest as cancer sucks, even for caregivers. This is a private blog and only those provided access are able to access.
