Our trip to the Mall today was for one thing and one thing only - L'Occitane's Lip Balm Stick. In case you are wondering how to say L'Occitane, it is pronounced LŌX-ĒĒ-TAHN.
I am in love with this product. Dale is hooked on their foot cream and last year when I went to the store to buy Dale some for his Christmas stocking, the salesperson at the store told me that their lip balm, made from shea butter, was so incredible you really only had to use it once a week. I, of course, bought it (partly because I am an impulse shopper).
Now, the real reason I bought it (and love it) is that I am a winter lip balm guy. I used to have to use lip balm 4-5 times per day when the weather was cold and dry or my lips would crack. However, with L'Occitane's Lip Balm Stick, I only use it 1-2 times per week and do not have lip issues. It is amazing. I cannot recommend it enough.
Now, it is expensive. It is not your $0.99 Chap Stick and retails for $10.00, but it lasts pretty long. I actually just ran out this past Saturday from the stick I bought last Christmas, so I think that is pretty good...about $1.00 per month for crack-free lips.
Also, Dale's feet are very soft from their Shea Butter Foot Cream. Yes, shea butter is a miracle and a blessing. So if you are looking for great gift ideas this year for your loved ones (or Dale and I) I recommend L'Occitane products. They are French and fabulous.
If the good people of L'Occitane are reading this blog post. I love your products. Please send me some free samples.
