Hi, I'm Bruiser! Want To Buy Me?

Over the past year, I have posted a lot on my blog about Elvira, my Mini Cooper, but have neglected to show off Dale's Mini Cooper, Bruiser. We bought Bruiser before Elvira back in October 2006 and it is a great car. It is the Mini Cooper S with all the bells and whistles (only 9,000 miles).

However, we are probably going to be selling Bruiser in the next few weeks. Yes, I know. Sad. As much as we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Bruiser and Elvira, we have decided that being a 3-car family (we also have a pick-up truck) is just not practical, since Dale and I are usually together and end up hardly using one of the vehicles.

So we are selling Bruiser now. We are then ordering a new 2009 Mini Cooper convertible with all the bells and whistles (Dale gets to pick the color, I get to pick the name) that will arrive in early 2009. At that point, we will be selling my beloved Elvira. As much as I love her, it is the practical decision.

So if you are looking for a wonderful car and are interested in Bruiser (seen below up at X Brand Ranch) or even Elvira, let me know.

  1. I'll have my 7 year old start saving his money to buy Elvira. He is determined to have a Cooper car. I keep explaining that if he continues to go as quickly as he is, he will not fit in the car when he is finally old enough to drive!

  4. Nell - Dale is 6'4" and he loves it. Mini Cooper actually has the most head room of any vehicle since the seats are on the floor practically.

You should buy it for him now. I can ship it to you.

  8. Well aren't you two just the cutest? His and his Mini Coopers! Please don't sell one. Sell the truck. Keep the his and his.

  9. Jason - Unfortunately two Mini Coopers and no four wheel drive is not as practical in Colorado, as much as I do love our his and his.
