Spidellapalooza comes to a close

Well, the train ride back to Denver hit a few snags. We left 90 minutes late. We got stuck for 2 hours in Granby due to a broken track. However it was still a blast and a fun way to travel.

Day 2 Spidellapalooza

The second day of Spidellapalooza was a blast. We started with a great homemade waffle breakfast, followed by the introduction of the TV show Modern Family to the Stubbendicks. The Spidells took us to the Glenwood Caverns, which was a blast. There we took a gondola and saw a full moon. We raced down the mountain on an alpine slide. We had lunch with amazing views. We went hundreds of feet into the earth for cave tours led by a man with the longest comb over any of us had ever seen. We watched 4D movies. We played a kick ass game of lazed tag. We ended the Glenwood Caverns with a van ride down the mountain with the most fertile grandpa alive. We ate dinner at Riviera Supper Club where the food was amazing but the staff was unfriendly. We went to a vaudeville show where Steve was pulled on stage. We saw rapping dogs and plunger lollipops. We heard old time tunes and movie catchphrases.

Most of all we laughed and laughed and laughed. It was a great day.

The Messages

I had a really cool dream last night that people all over the world starting receiving text messages on their phones warning them of upcoming danger. The texts were untraceable and report no sending phone number. The texts have messages like "do not get on the train today" or "do not drive on Main Street tomorrow". Soon people who follow the advice of the texts realize these messages saved their lives when they see a train derailment of the news or hear of an accident on Main Street.

People begin to panic questioning why only some people received the text messages scheduled on the train and not everyone. Who is sending these messages and how? Is it divine intervention of some sorts? Aliens? A hoax? People become crazed waiting for messages on their cells.

I woke up before there was any resolution but I think this would make a kick ass movie called The Messages or something.
